I was really looking forward to my house clean after having family stay for 10 weeks. I booked 2 cleaners for 4 hours so my house would be spick and span. From the moment the cleaner arrived he was in a rush and when we went thru everything like I wanted fingerprints wiped off from the walls – that was extra, my walk in wardrobe which was empty and I asked for the cabinetry to have a wipe – that was extra, my clear dining chairs to be wiped down – that was extra. He stayed for two hours and his co worker who was new to cleaning an hour and an half. After they left I went and had a look. I was so disappointed! I rang him and told him he’d missed doing the ensuite shower and basin and the kitchen cupboards were not wiped down properly. He did come back that afternoon and when I showed him the shower and said it will need a scrub he said you guessed it – that’s extra! I really struggled to work out what my quote of $515 was actually for! The quote did include an oven clean – but the rest was a rushed poor attempt at a house clean.

I struggled with the idea of everything done on line and would much prefer for someone to come and look at the property to see what actually needs doing.

The only positive out of this experience is that Urbancare HQ did refund my card for the hours that they charged on my card, that the cleaners weren’t there for – so I am grateful for that but otherwise I won’t be using them again – sorry
